Instead, it was obscured, likely as a consequence of the cultural and political dominance of that era.

Interestingly, this same cap was also worn by my Dacian ancestors, reflecting a shared cultural motif that transcends borders and eras. Recognizing this does not diminish the brilliance of Greek civilization but rather restores the broader and richer context of these myths. It reminds us that the ancient world was a tapestry of interconnected cultures, each contributing profoundly to the collective legacy of humanity. The stories of Orpheus and Achilles, though preserved in Greek tradition, are deeply intertwined with the spirit of these Thracian lands.
